BuddyTV.com is bringing fantasy leagues to reality Television. As fantasy baseball, football, and basketball leagues have gained popularity thanks to several new websites that allow users to track their picks, leaders, and results, pop culture fans have been left out in the cold.
This isn’t the case any longer. BuddyTV.com now offers an online fantasy TV league where fans can compete against each other publicly or in a private league with their family and friends. Like fantasy sports, players make their picks before the show airs and BuddyTV does most of the work from there. Players can log on and see how their chosen reality stars are doing against other people’s picks.
This is the first site to let fans of reality television gather and compete on a large scale. As of right now, there are already leagues set up for “American Idol”, “Survivor”, “The Amazing Race”, “America’s Next Top Model”, “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Rock of Love”, “Make Me a Supermodel”, and “Dancing with the Stars”. BuddyTV.com plans to set up more leagues in the future for other shows like “Big Brother” and “Project Runway” as well. You can set up your own league at BuddyTV’s Fantasy TV.
